Every Project is Custom-Designed
When you work with us on your stage drapery project, our journey begins with the design. This typically starts with a consultation between the director and set designer to understand the overall aesthetic and practical needs for the production. Next, a designer will create sketches and renderings of their proposed design and work with a team to create and install the final drapery elements on the stage. The process often includes selecting the appropriate materials, colors, and textures to create the desired visual effect on stage and also measuring and installing the right hardware, rigging systems, and other equipment needed to hang and move the drapery.

Stage Drapery Fabrication
Once a design has been approved, we work with our team of skilled craftspeople to create the final stage draperies. We have the capability to create both traditional and contemporary draperies using the latest techniques, including digital printing and laser cutting, to ensure the highest quality finished product.

Stage Drapery Installation
Stage drapery installation involves setting up the stage curtains and backdrops for a theater production. This typically includes measuring and installing the necessary hardware, rigging systems, and other equipment needed to hang and move the drapery. A team of stagehands and technicians will then use that hardware to hang the curtains and backdrops on the stage, adjusting them as necessary to ensure they are properly positioned and functioning. They also need to make sure that the drapes move smoothly on their tracks with proper tension and alignment. If a remote control system is used, the team will also ensure that it is programmed and tested. The installation process often takes place during the technical rehearsal period, before the opening of the show.
